JD asked:

I already know about exercise and anti-anxiety meds. I’ll consider all that stuff in due time. My mom suggested that I should eat flax seeds. The problem I have with that is that I have no way of knowing whether they are safe to eat. If you are going to suggest that I take some people, please ensure that it is “China free,” so to speak.

Prozac usually works well for combination symptoms depression/anxiety.

St. John’s wort is also shown to be an effective homeopathic treatment for depression but shouldn’t be used with other meds.

Ginko Biloba can be used for concentration.

I cannot say whether or not these things are “China Free” however….you’ve got bigger issues.

Green leaf lettuce and green leafy vegies are good as they are high in B-Vitamins which is essencial for your nervous system and brain and all systems really.
Foods high in trytophan are good like Bananas, avacados and samon.
Avoid carbonated drinks as they rob the body of calcium, magnesium and Bs. Also avoid white flour sugar and caffiene.
A good product to take as well is BTotal solution. It’s a liquid B vitamin you dispense under your tongue.
Also have your D vitamin level checked by your doctor. That can affect your moods and nerves drastically.

Lots of fresh fruit will do it and stay away from heavy foods like pizza, ice cream, until you get better then eat in moderation.
