Know any good stress relief techniques besides EATING?
My stomach hurts but I am still really stressed about a roadtrip with a three year old to meet my boyfriend’s parents. I’m about to throw up from anxiety and all the truffles and nasty stuff I’ve been stuffing in to try to deal.
logic and deep breathing aren’t working on this one!
I am at work and have been stretching a bit, but drawing the line at actually breaking out in some cardio. I DO have premsyn in my desk though. I **** the passive approach to anything, but I am going to try that, but keep the advice coming!

Working out!
What about cleaning or working out? Maybe even going for a walk, or watching a movie!!
When I clean I can only think about what I am doing and by the time I’m done I am so tired I usually sleep and I feel so much better cause I did something productive.
Watching a movie could help take you away for a while so that when its over you have a clearer mind to think about the roadtrip!

Try doing a strenuous exercise you realise Endorphins wich make you happy
Exercise causes the body to release endorphins which create the seratonin that relaxes you. Do a couple minutes of hard cardio, running hard in place, fast jumping jacks, something that gets your heart pumping.
Another way is through chemicals, there is a product you can get at the supermarket called Premsym. It will help take the edges off and help calm you down.
Why on earth are you stressing yourself out like this,is it over a meeting with the parents,or the actual journey itself?Either way you will not help matters stewing in your own gravy. IF its the actual meeting,you can only be yourself.And you must be special or your boyfriend would not want his parents to meet you,so there. IF on the other hand its the journey,eat some ginger biscuits before you go. [great for travel sickness ]Stock up with little games to keep tiddly-peep amused,and enjoy the scenery. GO GIRL.X
